  5. ABOUT THE BAND. David Jaymes co-formed Modern Romance in 1981. That same year, drummer and vocalist Andy Kyriacou joined the band. Andy's PR ideas were incorporated by the band for the release of the single Everybody Salsa and within 8 weeks Modern Romance had their first chart hit.

  7. Trick of the Light is the second album by English band Modern Romance. It was released in 1983 on LP and Cassette tape by WEA. A Japanese reissue on CD was released, but is long out of print. There was a European re-release in 2018 as a 24 bit remastered, expanded edition with 4 extra tracks.
