  1. Glassdoor says on their site, "Your trust is our top concern, so companies can't alter or remove reviews." Probably technically true, but they apparently can have Glassdoor remove the reviews for them. I think ex-employees review reports are treated differently than company review reports.

  2. 18 de nov. de 2017 · Glassdoor is a Scam and a Sham. I have had good jobs and bad jobs in my life. I have posted both positive and negative reviews on Glassdoor, for companies that I've worked with. Imagine my shock when I saw that Glassdoor deleted all of the ones on my account for no reason. Some of them had been online for years.

  3. A Warning About Glassdoor. EDIT: A little info from Glassdoor that I learned as part of my last job in marketing: The most recent review left, regardless of its score, is weighted at 80%. This is why after a negative review is left, a company will routinely leave an onslaught of positive reviews to counterweight the negative one.

When you find a job posting you like on LinkedIn, go to the actual companies website, go to their “careers” section, find the job, and apply directly there.

  8. So clearly Glassdoor is just a propaganda machine for companies. There is nothing fare or balanced about it. Do not work at DISH. u/Accomplished_Act6376. • Do not work at DISH. DISH has unveiled new on-site policies active March 1 that carry more scrutiny than their regular badge-in, badge-out standards.

  9. My biggest problem with Glassdoor was that massive number of duplicate postings. I could search for a job like "project manager" and it would show 10 pages worth of jobs, but the jobs that appeared on page 2 would have a lot of the same that appeared on page 1. Those that appeared on page 3 would also appear on page 1 or 2, etc.
