27 de jul. de 2021 · I have gone through symbol charts of latex and could not find how to put an ohm symbol. Like \theta, \omega, is there some command for ohms symbol?
This uses TeX Gyre Heros (another Helvetica clone, but with better glyph coverage). Loading this along with textcomp will set up \textohm properly. You could then use that directly, but I'd (unsurprisingly) favour using my own siunitx package to deal properly with units and so forth: Some text \textohm{} \si{\ohm}.

14 de ago. de 2010 · If designed symbols like those of textcomp wouldn't fit to your text font, you could use \textcircled similarly to create a symbol with the used font together with some correction if necessary, with \raisebox etc. For ConTeXt, use the \registered{} and \trademark{} macros. The character printed by |, \mid, \lvert and \rvert is always the same, but with different math class: | is an ordinary symbol; \mid is a relation symbol; \lvert is an opening symbol; \rvert is a closing symbol. Access to the last two requires loading amsmath. Except \mid they can all be used in the context of delimiters.

You appear to want to use slanted capital Greek letters by default, including for the Δ symbol. You can acoomplish that with the following: Laplacian \( \increment f(p) \).

There are some good suggestions regarding which symbol to use, it is a good idea to define your own macros for indicating matrices, vectors, and transpose, so that you can write: \MAT A \VEC b^\TRANSPOSE. This will make it easy to change the notation in the future, if you ever need to do so.
