I think Rimbaud became a part of his ability somehow and decided to give his gift to Verlaine when he died. And I think Verlaine was the one who killed him. Ah, the things people do for love…
15 de oct. de 2023 · In BSD, without Rimbaud, Verlaine’s sanity declined- bro became unhinged asf, derailing him from his real objective. For the real life Verlaine however, it was when Rimbaud showed up at his door, that his life became a flaming contreversal mess. Verlaine was an alcoholic, abused his wife and even his 3 month old son.

Simply saying he is selfish and evil ignores most of his character arc through the story. Verlaine isn’t a character who was meant to have a redemption. 26 de ago. de 2021 · Quick question about Verlaine and Chuuya’s relationship. Discussion. Asagari never actually told us that Verlaine was alive or that he even existed in the actual BSD episodes. And at the end of stormbringer it stated that after the entire thing with Chuuya, he became a PM executive but normally only stays underground.
7 de ene. de 2023 · That being said, Verlaine and Rimbaud. The people they're based on had an actual relationship while alive, and it would be awesome if it was acknowledged. Gay relationships were even more dangerous and looked down on while they were alive. It would be a lovely tribute to openly acknowledge their love in print and screen with BSD.
