30 de mar. de 2020 · Resident Evil 3 is a superb remake of the original, with Nemesis being the clear highlight. Although inventory management and aiming can be a problem, it's still a fantastic game. Hardcore Gamer - Cory Wells - 4.5 / 5. On its own, the remake of Resident Evil 3 is another hallmark achievement for Capcom.
Gameplay is more fun in 3 as well especially with the dodge mechanic. 3 is more fun to replay as its more linear and its fast paced; its fun to unlock items in the shop. 2 is better for exploration, puzzles and levels are more complex, theres more tension and horror but then 3 is meant to be more actiony. 2 feels like a more complete package.
You claim it’s underrated but proceed to follow that with the fact that you never played the original and are only 2 hours into the remake. As a veteran who played all the resident evil games in existence since the first playstation 1, I assure you, RE3 remake is in fact, overrated. Reply reply. Hexagram195.
Wow, there are really a notable lack of puzzles. Specially if you take into account that 1 - The lockers and one of the safes are the same from REmake 2. 2 - The Railway Route is something you don't need to even take notes: the solution is already there, in front of you. You just have to copy and paste it.
29 de nov. de 2022 · It took me 6,5 hours (on hard) with all exploring, which is a solid time for a Resident Evil game. Yes replaying the game is easier and quicker, 3 hours, but thats not much less than the RE2 Remake (4 hours). RE3make isn't any shorter than RE2make. The Resident Evil games were always relatively short until RE4.
It’s really not a good game outside of the solid gameplay mechanics. The game is short, even for a Resident Evil game it’s short - and relies too much on replaying for unlocks etc. Literally every single aspect of the game is a HUGE downgrade from the original, which is embarrassing.
4 de ene. de 2022 · I haven't played the RE3 remake, but I imagine it's also a problem there. I get this is a game many people love and played to death as a kid, I'm not trying to talk shit to the game you love, but I just wanted to vent as, after so many years thinking of doing this, it feels really sad that the game didn't held up.
OmegaLQ-84. Resident Evil 3 Remake is honestly an amazing game. General. So, this year I got into Resident Evil. I already knew the series since I played a bit of the og Resident Evil 1 when I was little, but that doesn't really count I guess. This year I played 7, Remake 2, Remake 3 and Revelations, and I'll play Village probably around ...
Personally when I played the originals I liked 3 better than 2 but with the remakes 2 is amazing compared to the re3 remake. Re2 you can shoot off zombies limbs, Re3 you can't. Re2 only cut small portions of the original while Re3 cut whole sections and even cut the multiple choice section out, the only part of the game worth playing it over again for if you're already familiar with the story.
The whole "all resident evil games can be beaten in 3-4 hours" argument is pretty pointless with this game. Very few of the RE games can be beaten blind in 3-4 hours. RE3 Remake is notably short in comparison to the others. Because it can be beaten in the 1-1,5h mark.
