Maybe, maybe. I've yet to meet one that can outsmart bullet. So, one guy making Metal Slug 4 was thinking of new weapons. "I know ! How about a machine gun !
23 de ago. de 2020 · The heavy machine gun is also a favorite for its versatility. Being able to hit enemies on a diagonal is a huge help and spraying wildly up and down can function as a screen clear against infantry. I also love the flameshot in 2 and onward.

My family used to play the Metal Slug X/Metal Slug 3 Arcade Machine, at a Shakies Pizza just one block from my Childhood Home. It's been 30+ years and my Mother says it's the most memorable game when entering the pizza joint because all you hear is the OP on repeat and the Metal Slug shooting a round at the player.

9 de dic. de 2020 · You do get a Heavy Machine Gun by killing Robot O Neil before the fight. You also get an Enemy Chaser if you kill the satellite robots during the second phase. If you kill the Amadeus robots in the final phase, you will get grenades and heavy machine guns. And of course, if you continue your game you get a heavy machine gun.

Metal Slug and other SNK games at the time (Especially KOF) were huge in Mexico because: The cost of arcade games were much cheaper than consoles at the time. Maintenance of Neo Geo games were much easier especially with cartridges, as operators can just simply switch games, add new games if they have a multi-game Neo Geo board, and they were much cheaper than Capcom's CPS2 boards.
