Microsoft (and you) were paying for the privilege of including it. PuTTY is considered to be about the best alternative freeware. RO.

Does WIndows 7 have Hyperterminal or an equivalent? If you are interested in Telnet, Windows 7 does have such a client but it is not part of the default installation Navigate to Control Panel Programs and features Turn Windows features.... from the left panel Select Telnet Client. PS.

23 de sept. de 2023 · Made a directory HYPERTRM.DLL and expanded HYPERTERMINAL.DL_to it on C:.It expanded it successfully to it. It still could not find it when I executed HYPERTRM.EXE, might be because the are not both in the same directory.
