  3. 7 de ene. de 2018 · HSBC counters are unlimited amounts of coin for deposit or exchange (if you have an account with them). Just don't mix your coins and also keep any old £1 separate. The main banks are used to handling large amounts of coin - its the Building Societies who don't like much in the way of coin and often have a 5 bag limit.

Hi, I dissolved by LTD company a few months ago, and stupidly didn't close the bank account, HMRC refunded money owing to me into the business account. When I tried to access it, it is now frozen with the money going to the treasury. I feel so stupid for not transferring the money before and closing the account myself.

Yes - you need bank bags (from the bank in the first place) and then sort into the correct amounts (£1.00 in 1ps) YOu cannot obviously mix the coins in the same bag (e.g 1ps and 2ps in same bag is NOT acceptable)

Banks will only accept full unmixed bags. (Im not 100% on the amount is a 20p bag. £1 £2 - £20. 50p, 20p - £10. 10p, 5p - £5.

Specifically a Starling Bank account? I've come into a mixture of coins (mostly £1, £2 and 50p coins) but not enough of each to put in £20 bags, totalling just under £40.

  10. 26 de jun. de 2011 · You are right Halifax are not a bank as all their main branches open Saturdays and all their branches are open until 5pm. They don't take more than 5 bags of coin as they don't have storage vaults like the "main" banks, they don't process business accounts like the "main" banks, they bank their coin and have it collected as their customers do ...
