Relative newcomer Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay and fought for his right to play Rocky rather than see it go to other, bigger names of the time such as Ryan O'Neal or Burt Reynolds.

Stallone took the starring, writing and directing roles once again for this third outing, but with his own admission a lack of ideas had him decide to drop the characters in favour of action. The result is a high octane, fast paced, boo-hiss villainy, montage laden, music video for Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger.

17 de jul. de 2024 · Rocky Balboa's 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray enjoys a strong enough DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, which may not particularly reinvent the wheel on its preceding - for all intents and purposes identical - uncompressed PCM 5.1 mix, but also doesn't have to, since the existing track was more than decent enough. more than decent enough.

The 4k may look better in certain areas but it is also riddled with DNR (which wasn't on the blu ray) giving an unnatural picture. Lionsgate messed up the original blu ray and messed up again for the 4K release.
22 de oct. de 2018 · 3:10 to Yuma 4K Sound. 3:10 to Yuma enjoys an upgrade on the aural front too, courtesy of an immersive DTS:X 3D HD audio track, besting the DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track already available on the previous Blu-ray release, which forms the core foundation for the added layers of discrete object-based immersion. It's an impressive track.
