SMS speedruns are really fun to watch due to the movement. It's just so flow-y and, well, satisfying. Commentary is good. Trey is a good streamer. Record was long sought-after, being not just a minute barrier but an hour barrier, so getting it was very cathartic. It's in all likelihood the last hour barrier for any major SMS category.

Any % Any% implies that you are finishing the game in the fastest way possible regardless of sidequest progression, item collection, enemies defeated, etc.

TASing games like Minecraft are done by running the game at a very slow speed using a mod, recording the gameplay and speeding it back up in a video editor.

As someone who speedran DDLC+ much in the past, I legitimately thought you were cheating because of how fast you were going through dialogue lol. I didn’t realize that DDLC had potential like this and now I’m kinda excited to try it!
The specific strategies involved with speedrunning the game can be rather intricate, but here is the basic gameplan: Step 1: Gather resources in the overworld and find/build a Nether Portal. Step 2: Travel to the Nether and find a bastion to trade with piglins. Step 3: Travel to the Nether and find a fortress to kill blazes for their loot.
I know the most prestigious / most important speedrun question has been asked before, but I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on a more expansive list. I did read all of the "starting answers" discussion on this SR, though I want to know a bit more of detail. I'm pretty sure I need to spawn preferably in a desert (For temples and lava pools), though I've been told acacia and plains biomes are also somewhat good to start with.
