The other big thing this UFO test will demonstrate is ghosting. That impacts the clarity of moving objects. I used to own a Eizo Foris 120hz monitor with a 240hz boost mode that displayed a completely black frame between every new frame. It eliminated ghosting completely. The UFO was just as clear moving as it would be sitting still.
15 de mar. de 2023 · The key takeaways here are the afterimages on the UFO and the added blurring to the stars on the IPS panel, caused by the slower pixel response times of the LCD. Of course when actually using it you will be happy with how the IPS looks too.

4 de abr. de 2019 · If you have the alienware 240Hz monitor then you should be seeing 240 on ufo test. Open the nvidia control panel by right clicking on the desktop and selecting it, under the display option select the Change Resolution option. Make sure your refresh rate is set to 240Hz there and apply the settings.

I then did the UFO test and it seems to confirm I noticed that when I have a twitch stream or a youtube video running, or when I move my mouse around on the 2nd monitor this stuttering message pops up on the UFO ...
11 de jul. de 2020 · I mean that fact alone means it's at the very least as good as what we are seeing, and I'm liking what I'm seeing so much haha. Coming from a laptop display with a 50ms gtg and horrendous ghosting, which I never noticed until I did the UFO tests, I am very much excited to be getting this bad boy when it's in stock again.
28 de feb. de 2020 · But the actual test is done by tracking the ufo with your eyes, which makes the background look like a checkerboard while tracking the UFO, relative to the UFO. If you look elsewhere, it won't work as it appears that the checkerboard is moving slower than the UFO. It's easier without strobing.
15 de oct. de 2021 · I got the MSI mag274qrf-qd. Powered it up and tried out the UFO ghosting test at 120hz. I was amazed. I am amazed. Then I left to go call a buddy to see the glory. When I can back I loaded up the MSI osd software. Only took about 3 mins to come back. I noticed the racing lines from the UFO test were visible against the black background.

How do I find out the max refresh rate of my monitor? Do I need to enable anything else? Thanks a lot! Btw, I do notice that this model hits 240 hz in UFO in some Youtube videos. Edit: It can hit 240 hz in Edge.
18 de sept. de 2022 · So you have two things happening at the same time. The artifacts due to pixel response, overdrive, panel technology, ...And the persistence based eye tracking motion blur.And what you will see on the UFO is the sum of those things. But yeah a 240Hz OLED would be super sweet!
