Xbox One X Enhanced titles are optimized to natively run at a 4K resolution or support HDR. Although the Xbox Games marketing head assures that the Xbox One X won’t have exclusive titles, others speculate that the decision will be ultimately left to the developers who develop the video games.

We've seen two previous versions of the Xbox One on our teardown table—the original and Xbox One S—and both impressed us with their ease of disassembly and modular components.
8 de nov. de 2017 · Xbox One S and Xbox One X HDDs have the same structure. I used this method for 2TB Samsung EVO SSD (MZ-75E2T0BW). I created the Xbox One SSD (four partitions) in Windows 10, copy/pasted all files from the original drive into my SSD (System Support, System Update, Temp Content and User Content), replaced the drive in my Xbox One X (not Project Scorpio) and it is working just GREAT!
Step 17 Move the disc drive. Flip the console back over, keeping in mind the disc drive is loose. Lift the disc drive up so that its metal tab is unhooked from the power supply. Flip the disc drive over and place it on the power supply. The disc drive should end up facing the opposite direction it started in.

I bought a One X for cheap and it worked but the Disc drive didn't - it couldn't pull in the discs; I opened it up, discovered that it was very dusty, cleaned that out and also cleaned the Disc drive, especially the rollers of the mechanism that pushes the disc out or pulls it in, of course also the laser lens, then reassembled it and it works absolutely fine again.
Instead add a 2 TB external drive. For reasons as follows: 1 - Your Xbox will run faster. The external port can run an SATA III while the internal is only an SATA. Plus you could go all the way with an SSD if you wanted. Though honestly that's over kill and would only slightly help.
