Now, when I attempt to read a .pdf file a Reader X message pops up with the following message; "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement". I do not have Adobe Acrobat, I am using the free Adobe Reader X.

  7. 24 de ago. de 2024 · The answer by robyncoolum actually works. I am using Adobe Reader X ver 10.1.1. Maybe some clearification: 1. Select the text you want to black out. 2. Mark the text selection using the tool and it will be marked yellow. 3. Right click the selection and select Properties.

  8. 21 de abr. de 2020 · Hi, Since yesterday I'm having problems with Adobe Reader X on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Whenever I open a pdf file it closes automatically within a few seconds. I tried to update the software version, but it tells me that 'no updates avliable'. Is there anything I can do?

  9. 23 de feb. de 2011 · When I closed my browser and clicked on the Adobe Reader X icon on my desktop to open it - it asked to you want the following program to make changes on your computer. I can't open it to try out your suggestion of edit-preferences-general / Uncheck enable protected mode at startup. I found a temporary fix - a way to go around the problem.

The PDF's open correctly without any delay's or issues but when closing it takes about 30 seconds to close. I have disabled all security settings, run a repair, re-installed Adobe reader (Both 64bit and 32bit).
