11 de oct. de 2023 · Peter Hitchens has a "Reefer Madness" attitude no less fanatical than any 1930s crusader. Any mention of drugs (read: cannabis) sends his blood pressure through the roof. He's been this way for a very long time. And the thing is, he has every right to dislike drugs, want them banned, be pro-prohibition etc.

Peter Hitchens, as famous a pioneer of the transatlantic "skeptic movement" as his brother, did not like his interviewer questioning the validity of his claims. in a book that weed is worse than "herder" drugs like LSD and Cocaine. Alex was being super careful the whole time.

Peter Hitchens acted like a complete man-baby from the get go. Even when he was welcomed onto the podcast, he gave a snarky response. Sadly, he got even more insufferable from there. He kept interrupting the interviewer and going on diatribe about how he was "bored" of the subject but wouldn't let the interviewer follow-up.
