2 de abr. de 1997 · Shoujo Kakumei Utena, or Revolutionary Girl Utena, is the best drama/shoujo anime that I have ever watched. *This review may contain some spoilers, but only minor ones* RGU's story is very interesting and unique, but also feels very familiar in a way at the same time.
Manga, Anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena was originally a manga with story by Be-Papas and art by Chiho Saito that ran in Shogakugan's Ciao magazine from 1996 to 1997. It has been licensed Stateside by Viz Media, and the final volume, which covers the movie, was released on December 3rd, 2007. Revolutionary Girl Utena has two anime incarnations.
Shoujo Kakumei Utena: Adolescence Mokushiroku was published in English as Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Adolescence of Utena by VIZ Media on November 16, 2004. It was also released in Brazilian Portuguese as Utena: Uma Aventura Mágica by Editora JBC in two volumes from March 2009 to April 2009.

2 de may. de 1996 · Aug 10, 2010. akaiane_kiddo. Recommended. Preliminary (20/25 chp) Utena is a story far less innocent than it looks. Even with a subtle dash and all the fantasy comes to controversial issues, as is typical of shoujo, but this anime is much more dense than the others. Each character is worked in a splendid manner.
