Rush fue una banda canadiense de rock progresivo formada en 1968 en Toronto, Ontario. La formación se mantuvo estable desde 1974, cuando Neil Peart reemplazó al baterista original, John Rutsey, antes de su primera gira estadounidense.
Rush was a Canadian rock band that primarily comprised Geddy Lee (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar) and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyrics). The band formed in Toronto in 1968 with Lifeson, drummer John Rutsey, and bassist and vocalist Jeff Jones, whom Lee immediately replaced.
