Like many of the popular gear spreadsheets, the main method for comparing and sorting items with Sixty Upgrades is equivalency points/stat weights. While I know these have their shortcomings and do not remain constant as your balance of stats changes, I think it is still the most effective way to browse items and plan your gear.

I would give it the stat weight you want it to have for hit over 6% and even then you're probably going to have to tweak the gear recommendations. Eightyupgrades is really useful for tanks, when used to figure out how to hit crit immune or measuring your HP when raid buffed, or for dps when trying to get a certain amount of Hit or Expertise.
