8 de abr. de 2019 · Aquaman 4K Picture. Aquaman comes to UK Ultra HD Blu-ray courtesy of Warner, who offer up likely the exact same excellent package that their US release was afforded. The big budget CG-enhanced digital cinematography belies a 2K Digital Intermediate that, technically, holds it back but, in reality, doesn't stop it being utterly stunning.

The Iron Man Trilogy was long overdue on the format - so long indeed that Germany jumped the gun with its non-Disney 4K set - but this set is well worth the wait, providing largely excellent video, stunning Atmos audio upgrades, and the old Blu-ray extras. It's a must-have for fans.

15 de sept. de 2019 · Thor comes to UK Ultra HD Blu-ray courtesy of Disney, marrying up to their identical US release. As with the first two Iron Man films, it was shot on 35mm film, and ostensibly limited by a 2K Digital Intermediate, but nevertheless the end result is generally very good, with Disney's patented DNR application getting a little more out of hand this time around.

7 de mar. de 2020 · Thor Ragnarok is a case in point on the opening scene. The Led Zep track just doesn't punch where it should, like it's playing in another room. Also some of lightning strikes and hammer slams should be room shaking but somehow Mjölnir is more of a toffee hammer.
