Having reacquired the rights to a number of titles from Handmade Films, Criterion upgrades their early DVD edition of Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits to Blu-ray, presenting the film with a 1080p/24hz high-definition transfer in the aspect ratio of about 1.85:1 on a dual-layer disc.
Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits receives a 4K upgrade from The Criterion Collection and is presented here on a triple-layer disc in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 with Dolby Vision. The 2160p/24hz ultra high-definition encode is sourced from a recent 4K restoration taken from a scan of the 35mm original camera negative.

Just to clarify this point: The high-definition transfer is not identical to the one Arrow Video used for their release of Time Bandits in the United Kingdom. However, it has been sourced from the same recent 2K restoration of the film, which was approved by the American director.
