Everyone hates Bing, nobody wants this here, but there is no setting in windows options to remove Bing from the start menu (even after disabling Bing from Search toolbar, browser, etc.) the Bing Chat buttons still remain in the start menu's search functionality right at the top.

Click Remove. 2. Disable or Uninstall Edge extensions. Open Edge > Click 3 dots > Extensions. Please check if one of your Extensions is forcing your search to use Bing.

On Bing I have searched for symptoms, like dizziness and itchiness, etc, and diseases including leprosy to green monkey disease, plus, "Symptoms of Covid", etc. I never get it to complete, be ticked off, and give me the points! Broken or requires a very specific phrase. NB: I think this is a UK-only problem.

The only variation was that Windows Search had to be double clicked to open up a dialogue box that allowed Automatic to be selected from a list of about four options.

Or, if I open a new tab and click the homepage button I will get the same results. Hitting "Refresh" doesn't always fix the issue. It doesn't happen every time, but it is consistent.
