4 de jul. de 2022 · Since Windows 11 is now using Video Editor for their software rather than the old Movie Maker Software that was available back in the day to make slide shows, the new app has taken away the transitions function that used to be on Movie Maker slideshow software but is no longer available on the current Video Editor software preinstalled with Win 11.

In December, Microsoft annouced it was ending support for its suite of lifestyle apps, Windows Essentials. The last version launched in 2012 with the release of Windows 8. Since then, the software has been in maintenance mode. Even though the software firm promised to remove the software by January 10, 2017, its still available for download.

23 de dic. de 2017 · Although Windows Essentials (which includes Movie Maker) is not supported (won't get any updates) anymore, you still can download the offline installer. During the installation you can choose which programs you want to install. Windows Essentials latest version 16.4.3528.0331:

29 de sept. de 2018 · As of January 2017, the Windows Essentials 2012 bundle has been retired and is not available for download from Microsoft servers. Movie Maker went away January 2017. That post above has details on what you can do if you still need to reinstall Movie Maker 2012.

8 de sept. de 2015 · I suggest you to uninstall the Windows Essential program, download the latest Windows Essential program and install it. Follow the below steps: Step 1: Uninstall Windows Essentials. 1) Press Windows key + x and select Program and features. 2) Right click on the Windows Essential and click on Unistall.
