For some weird reason, the installer will literally not work if it's the online version, but it works fine if I install the offline version. I've been searching online for quite sometime, but I only found a really outdated version of the offline version.

23 de mar. de 2021 · So basically, I've been trying to download some stuff on Opera GX but honestly, it's really slow. I'm using speedtest and the results say my internets at 60MB download, 75MB upload. When trying to download something, Opera says it's 70 KBPS. Now as you can tell that's obviously a huge difference, and I don't have any VPN or anything on.
16 de sept. de 2021 · I am trying to download opera gx on my laptop but it is not working. I have a lot of storage space and good wifi connections. It has been a few days and it still hasn't download. Is there a way to stop the download or speed it up, if so, thanks in advance. @kingslayer999 Try downloading the offline installer.

2 de oct. de 2023 · I'm not sure what this extension is. The process happens every time an action related to downloads is taken, like downloading a file or clearing the download history. I tried to look up the extension ID on the chrome webstore and opera GX mods but found nothing (I couldn't really figure out how to search on GX mods specifically).

20 de mar. de 2021 · Opera GX is just an older version of Opera Stable with some extra built-in component extensions and some extra features. In general, they should run about the same. Or, Opera GX should be a little slower just because of the older version of Chromium used and the added features using more resources. In general, you shouldn't see much difference.
