Yeldos Smetov (en kazajo: Елдос Сметов; Taraz, 9 de septiembre de 1992) es un deportista kazajo que compite en judo. [1] Participó en tres Juegos Olímpicos de Verano, obteniendo tres medallas, plata en Río de Janeiro 2016, bronce en Tokio 2020 y oro en París 2024, en la categoría de –60 kg.

Yeldos Smetov of Kazakhstan became 2024 Olympic Champion in Paris U60kg at the age of 31. He had already won Olympic silver in 2016 and bronze in 2021. Smetov was 2015 World Champion at home in Astana. He took bronze at the 2019 Worlds in Tokyo and 2022 Worlds in Tashkent.
