  5. 30 de jun. de 2013 · Personally no, the reason I say this is the 2.5 and 4.0 heads are cast iron and usually crack. You can fix cast iron cracks but to do it right takes time and skill. Most drill the crack and drive in metal plugs then grind off flat or it can be welded even epoxied. Personally if yours isn't cracked I would have it redone.

The oil "sender" is actually a switch. Get a true oil pressure gauge and check the oil pressure. I think some of the parts stores rents them.

The battery is what provides the majority of the current (power) for the winch, not the alternator.
