11 de ago. de 2021 · I usually quite like Radcliffes movies, Swiss Army Man is brilliant, however Guns Akimbo just didn't work for me, it was watchable but utterly unsatisfying. Felt a bit like Crank, but without the style, gore and political incorrectness. Kind of hated it. Good, not great.

17 de jul. de 2020 · Wanted is incredibly similar. It’s an oldie, but watch The Running Man (w. Schwarzenegger) Nerve is basically the same movie if it were made for girls instead of boys. You may also want to check out Hardcore Henry for badass action. Check out Crank or Shoot ‘em Up. Maybe Last Action Hero to an extent.
ADMIN MOD. Guns Akimbo (2019) is such a fun movie. Discussion. It took me 3 tries to watch it because at first, his troll persona irked me badly. I am very glad I gave it this third try. Daniel Radcliffe is always great and I should never have doubted. Many thanks to anyone who has recommended it to me in the past.
30 de jul. de 2020 · FanTheory. I get the feeling that the ending of Guns Akimbo was changed. The ending has a fake out where Miles and Nova embrace after Ricktor gets throw off the building, but it's revealed that Miles is actually bleeding out and in shock and Nova is horrifically traumatized by seeing Miles pistol whip a man to death.

Hey choombas, I'm sure I'm not the only person, player or GM, who has entertained the notions of double guns, especially dual-SMGs. It's flashy, it's stupid, it's awesome.
Not the person you asked, but I enjoyed Guns Akimbo. I think it's a dumb movie. I even think it's a bad movie. But it had fun with its premise. I mean, it could have been workshopped a bit more and made, I dunno, more surprising in places. But hey, for something to put on while I ate dinner, it got the job done.
11 de jun. de 2021 · Guns Akimbo is the best film I've seen in a long time. Just finished watching it, and I haven't touched my phone once. Before when watching films on tv or renting them, even when they were tv premiers and first time rents, I would periodically or throughout the whole film be on my phone. It's so much fun, I smiled throughout the whole film.
