I use specially-made books (think Ian Allan), notebooks and my mobile phone, but I am interested to hear your views. I have seen other similar topics on the forum but they weren't what I wanted.-Peter

In my opinion it is Dawlish Warren as you get a good variety train classes + an opportunity to get overtaking shots.

9 de sept. de 2013 · Hi all, I'm a new member. I'm 45, haven't been train spotting since a kid. I used to get an Ian Allan book with a all the numbers and neatly underline them. Is there such a book now? If so, which is the best please? Any tips gratefully received. Thanks.
25 de jul. de 2012 · Trainspotting is the number 1 thing people are ashamed to admit above anything else. It's because the average response you'd get from most people is horrendous. However if I wasnt into trains I probably wouldnt have this job now that pays £30k basic or £50k with overtime, and had this just 2 years into my working career.
22 de abr. de 2017 · I don't really know any areas for good old fashioned sit-in-a-field-in-the-rain type trainspotting anywhere, and as I'm based in the west country are there any good spots with lots of traffic around here? Wales wouldn't be a stretch, I have an unhealthy obssession with Pacers at the moment...
