24 de ene. de 2022 · I am just curious if anyone has any regrets about purchasing their Glowforge. It seems like such an amazing item and almost all of the reviews seem positive. I am just wondering if this is just brilliant marketing or if the machine is truly as good as it looks. This would be a huge purchase for me, so I wanted to hear from real people about ...
The laser tube was doing a slow, dim flicker during the second run. By the third attempt it was not glowing at all. I saw online that the typical lifespan of these tubes is about 2 years, and that consistent use is the best way to maximize their useful period. Non-use can allow degradation to occur more rapidly.
8 de may. de 2021 · There are many tools you could buy to try to make some money -- a saw, a router, a cricut, a sublimation printer, a UV printer, a fiber laser, or a CO2 laser like a Glowforge. I don't know what reality check you're looking for. There are probably 100,000 lasers being used in personalization businesses in the US.
24 de oct. de 2020 · I am upgrading my machine for something larger and looking to sell my Glowforge Pro. The machine works great and has a new black cable lid and printer head. The new printer head included a new printer head lens, printer head mirror, printer head window (black), and laser window (silver). I am not willing to ship this as I do not have a box.
29 de mar. de 2023 · It'd be so much more efficient if I could test or finalize my work on the Glowforge app while still at home. But I don't think this is supported: the app is very restricted — your account must be linked to a device. I wish Glowforge programmed a "virtual" device to make content creation easier. Anyone have any ideas?
7 de nov. de 2021 · I will preface this with saying I am a NEW Glowforge owner. And I thought about it for a long time before moving forward. So why do I think the cost is worth it? Here are my top 3 reasons. I love the outlet of creating and crafting, but I struggle doing it on my own. Being part of this community is incredible!
The Voccell DLS looks nice, and their specs are better than Glowforge in most ways. One concern I have about them is that they seem to be just an upgraded, rebranded G.Weike Storm 600. If so, I wish they were more upfront about it. 3.
17 de may. de 2020 · My wife is the principal at STEAM middle school who recently purchased the Glowforge Plus to use in its Innovation Lab. After reading through the manual, I saw that Glowforge encourages only the use of certain proprietary materials. Unfortunately, she is not sure of the sustainability of this equipment due to the high cost of these materials.
7 de mar. de 2020 · Glowforge Focus Stuck (RMA in Process) Unfortunately, I was struck with the focus stuck issue which is very common among globe forages from what I have read. I've had to go through a couple troubleshooting steps. But even with these troubleshooting steps, I have found that my unit is defective and it needs to be replaced with a RMA unit.
15 de ago. de 2019 · In the exact same segment as the Glowforge you have the Dremel LC40 and the Full Spectrum Muse. I only have personla experience with the Glowforge, so I can't testify to the quality of the LC40 and the Muse. The one thing I can say is that only the Glowforge has cloud based software.
