I have had a physical copy of Need for Speed Undercover for several years. During the time I have had it I have installed it on different laptops of mine. I installed it on my new laptop and when I try to start the game it says I have reached the maximum amount of installations on my product key and the game does not start.

But you can still fix it by adjusting the graphic settings until it feels smoother when opening and closing the pause menu etc then try to use the sliders again. here's what I tried to do to fix the stutter/lag: * ran the game as windows xp service pack 2. * lowered all the settings at 640x480. * uninstalled the game and reinstalled it (revo uninstaller used ) * checked for the latest updates for my graphic card. * disabled my antivirus. * disabled my firewall. * restarted my computer.
