In fact, Honda and Toyota only recommend K&N filters when using aftermarket high flow filters as K&N is the only brand of filter the oil does NOT come off of.

  4. 30 de jul. de 2001 · Your axles would be standard rotation and a locker could be used to isolate the gearset for on-road operation. Pipe dream, I know. But you can buy a planetary gearset in an almost infinate number of sizes right off the shelf. So, the bulk of the expense would be in the custom housing.....oh and all the extra gas you'll use to turn the sucker.

  6. 21 de jul. de 2006 · Tim, this is good info. I ran into the same problem when I converted from Ross to Saginaw. My steering box was from a late '70's FSJ, and I used a 2" drop Skyjacker pitman arm I had laying around that came from a 4" lift for an FSJ (having owned 23 FSJ's, you tend to accumalate parts).

  7. 6 de mar. de 2000 · It's on the top and unless you're going to get "stupid deep" you probably don't need it, I was going over the hood and it was sort of a necessity. As far as the differentials, if they have caps on the breathers just pop off the caps and clamp a piece of hose on them and route them up to the highest point you can, if hoses just lenghthen them.

  8. 9 de nov. de 2005 · Not good. Check if the rad is clean on the outside and if the inside isn't clogged up. Check if the lower hose has the spring in it to prevent it from collapsing. Check if the pump is not the reverse one. Easiest to check is to look in the reservoir with the cap off and see it the coolant is coming out of the side inlet when you rev the engine ...

  9. 6 de mar. de 2000 · Is the Power Lok a good strong unit and will it pull in most conditions,I like the truetrac but they dont have it for te 60 and I dont think I want to go with the detroit locker up front. My truck gets used alot off and on road, lots off trail running and some rock crawling and also snowy conditions. Thanks for any advice,Steve

  10. 12 de feb. de 2000 · I hooked up my off road lights today. I keep blowing fuses though. I am using a wiring harness from the factory driving lights. The relay is a 30 amp and the wiring is as thick as the wire that came with the lights. The lights are explorer pro comp 130. The amp draw is supposed to be (acording to the box) 10.83. I am blowing 30 amp fuses.
