Satisfying the desire of the people of Little Russia, the Zemsky Sobor unanimously decided, “so that the great sovereign, tsar and grand duke Alexei Mikhailovich of all Rus', deigned that hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky and the entire Zaporozhye army, with their cities and lands, to accept under his sovereign high hand.”

Soddisfacendo il desiderio del popolo della Piccola Russia, lo Zemsky Sobor ha deciso all'unanimità: "così che il grande sovrano, lo zar e granduca Alexei Mikhailovich di tutta la Rus', si degnò che l'etman Bogdan Khmelnitsky e l'intero esercito di Zaporozhye, con le loro città e terre, accettassero sotto la sua mano sovrana."
