Hace 3 horas · An 18th-century farmhouse in Trimingham, Norfolk, England, was demolished on Friday after being left hanging precariously over a cliff edge due to coastal erosion. The demolition of Cliff Farm was carried out by contractors using a wrecking machine, methodically tearing into the building, lifting away sections of the roof, and knocking down the walls.

The Foundling Hospital opened in 1756 and was able to take in some of the illegitimate children. However, the conditions within the hospital caused Parliament to withdraw funding and the governors to live off of their own incomes.
