29 de abr. de 2024 · Henry Beaufort was the eldest surviving son of Edmund Beaufort, duke of Somerset and his wife Eleanor Beauchamp. Following his father’s death at the Battle of St. Albans in 1455, Henry inherited the dukedom.

He was buried in St George's Chapel, Windsor. 1536 - King Henry VIII wrote letters to his ambassadors abroad: Richard Pate in Rome, and Stephen Gardiner and John Wallop in Paris.
