4 Goes To Glastonbury was a Channel 4 programme about the highlights of the Glastonbury music festival, broadcast between 1994 and 1995, before the BBC had the rights to broadcast the festival. The show was hosted by different presenters including Mark Radcliffe, Mark Lamarr, Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley.
Peel made an appearance on the programme in 1994 talking about his first visit to the festival, the reasons why he goes there, including getting his children and their friends to go there for free and broadcasting at the event for his BBC Radio One shows.
14 de oct. de 1994 · 4 Goes To Glastonbury was the first televised coverage of the festival. Tyne Tees Television produced the programmes for Channel 4 in 1994 and also the following year, before the BBC had the rights to broadcast the festival. In this edition; 'The Trip Continues…' we return to view unseen footage.
4 Goes to Glastonbury, first live TV coverage in 1994. This was the year the festival was first televised live by Channel 4; concentrating on the main two music stages and providing a glimpse of the festival for those who knew little of it.
