Hace 5 días · The Ming dynasty (/ m ɪ ŋ / MING), officially the Great Ming, was an imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1368 to 1644 following the collapse of the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty. The Ming dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China ruled by the Han people, the majority ethnic group in China.
Hace 2 días · The Ming dynasty was founded by Zhu Yuanzhang in 1368, who proclaimed himself as the Hongwu Emperor. The capital was initially set at Nanjing , and was later moved to Beijing from Yongle Emperor 's reign onward.

It was about 2,200 years ago. During subsequent dynasties, the wall was extended, repaired or modified. The Han Dynasty (202 BC – 220 AD) and Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644 AD) are two time periods when the Great Wall was massively built or restored.
