Hace 4 días · Den 1. april 1962 blev Aarhus dog udvidet med dele af de nordlige forstadskommuner, Hasle, Tilst-Kasted og Vejlby-Risskov kommuner, som overgav et areal på 19,03 km² med 1.150 indbyggere til Århus Købstadskommune. Kommunes areal blev dermed næsten fordoblet fra 19,81 km² til i alt 38,45 km².
