Abdirahman Ahmed Ali Tuur (Somali: Cabdiraxmaan Axmed Cali Tuur, Arabic: عبد الرحمن أحمد علي الطور) (var. "Tur", "Tour", meaning "Hunchback") (November 6, 1931 - November 8, 2003) was a Somali politician who served as the first President of Somaliland from 1991 to 1993.

The president is also commander-in-chief of the Somaliland Armed Forces. The president represents the Government of Somaliland. The first president of Somaliland was Abdirahman Ahmed Ali Tuur. The current office-holder is the 5th president Muse Bihi Abdi, who took office on 13 December 2017.

18 de may. de 2021 · Abdirahman Tuur became the first president of Somaliland by default, because he was the chairman of the SNM at the time of the declaration of indeoenence at the Burco-conference 1991. But as I wrote above, it was the Borama-conference 1993 at which Egal was elected president.

Former president Abdirahman Ahmed Ali Tuur died in Somaliland on November 8, 2003. Somaliland government troops clashed with Puntland (Somalia) troops on October 30, 2004, resulting in the deaths of some 110 individuals.
