Entangled in the Irinjin-Qurmishi uprising, Abu-Sa`id dispatched a limited force commanded by Amir Hosayn Jalãyer, that nevertheless provoked the gradual withdrawal of Yesaur and Bektut. But by 720/1320, after the quelling of the Irinjin rebellion, the il-khãn was able to mobilize a larger force against Yesaur.
