Biography. Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge was the eldest of the three sons of Prince George, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother. He was a great-grandson of King George III of the United Kingdom and first cousin to Princess Mary of Teck, later Queen Mary, consort of British King George V.
