22 de abr. de 2024 · Shah Karim al-Husayni, also known as Aga Khan IV, is the 49th and current Imam of Nizari Isma’ilis. He succeeded his grandfather, Aga Khan III, on 11 July 1957, at the age of 20. Claiming direct descent from Prophet Muhammad through Ali and Fatima, he holds the religious title Mawlānā Hazar Imam among Isma’ilis.
