Crown Prince Nugzar Bagrationi-Gruzinski is the son of HRH Prince Peter Bagrationi-Gruzinski of Georgia (1920–1984), who was a prominent poet and the former Head of the Royal House of Georgia between 1939 and 1984. His grandfather, HRH Prince Alexander (1820-1865), was the son of HRH Prince Bagrat, the fourth son of King Giorgi XII of Georgia.
Levan, son of Bakar ( Georgian: ლევან ბაქარის ძე) or Leon Bakarovich Gruzinsky ( Russian: Леон Бакарович Грузинский) (6 September 1728 – 23 June 1763) was a Georgian prince of the Mukhrani branch of the royal Bagrationi dynasty. In Russia he bore the surname of Gruzinsky .
Alexander was a son of Prince Bagrat of Georgia, the 4th son of king George XII of Georgia. Family Prince Aleksandre (1820–1865) married firstly, in 1851, Princess Elene Tarkhan-Mouravi (7 July 1831–1903) and later divorced; and secondly married Princess Ekaterina (Ketevan) Andronikashvili.
