Alexander Arthur Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun MC JP DL (8 March 1886 – 31 August 1979), styled Master of Saltoun until 1933, was a Scottish peer who was one of the longest-serving representative peers, serving from 1935 to 1963.

Alexander Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun. Dorothy Geraldine Welby. Marjorie Flora Fraser, 21st Lady Saltoun [fn 2] [2] (born 18 October 1930), is a Scottish peer. Until her retirement on 12 December 2014, she was the only holder of a lordship of Parliament who had a seat in the House of Lords as an elected hereditary peer.

8 de mar. de 2022 · The 20th Lord Saltoun (1886-1979) served as Captain in the 1st Battalion of the Gordon Highlanders during the First World War and was awarded the Military Cross. His son Alexander, the Master of Saltoun, was killed in action in 1944, also winning the Military Cross like his father.

Alexander Arthur Fraser, 20th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born on 8 March 1886. He was the son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew. He married Dorothy Geraldine Welby, daughter of Sir Charles Glynne Earle Welby, 5th Bt. and Lady Maria Louisa Helen Hervey, on 8 June 1920.
