Admiral Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay (29 May 1881 – 8 October 1972) was a Royal Navy officer. He was the husband of Princess Patricia of Connaught, the youngest child of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, third son of Queen Victoria. He served with distinction during the First World War.

Lady Victoria Patricia Helena Elizabeth Ramsay (born Princess Patricia of Connaught; 17 March 1886 – 12 January 1974) was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Upon her marriage to Alexander Ramsay, she relinquished her title of a British princess and the style of Royal Highness.
UPC appoints former chairman Alexander Ramsay as first registrar. Today the Unified Patent Court has announced that its former chairman Alexander Ramsay will immediately assume the role of registrar, with former German Ministry of Justice lawyer Axel Jacobi taking on the deputy registrar position.
