Admiral Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay, GCVO, KCB, DSO (29 May 1881 – 8 October 1972) was a Royal Navy officer. He was the husband of Princess Patricia of Connaught , the youngest child of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn , third son of Queen Victoria .

Now the presidium of the UPC has appointed Ramsay as its registrar, a post he could hold for a renewable term of up to six years.

According to Ramsay, the court is working hard and spending a lot of resources to remedy ‘three layers of difficulties’. Another challenge, he says, is to facilitate the fast growth of the Court.
Alexander Ramsay, the younger son of the Arthur George Maule Ramsay, 14th Earl of Dalhousie married Princess Patricia of Connaught who was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Their son was Alexander Ramsay of Mar and his wife, the Lady Saltoun, chief of the Clan Fraser, are members of the royal family, by the Queen’s personal wish.
