He was also one of the first to apply for a licence, which he applied to Fettercairn. Interestingly, Ramsay employed illegal whiskey makers to be his first stillmen.

Lady Patricia was Queen Ingrid's maternal aunt. Queen Elizabeth was the consort of King George VI.
