She was the maternal grandmother of Anne Mortimer, thus an ancestor of King Edward IV and King Richard III.
She was married to Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent, who was a half-brother to King Richard II. Through her marriage, she became the Countess of Kent in 1381 and was named a Lady of the Garter in 1388. She was the maternal grandmother of Anne de Mortimer, thus an ancestor of the Tudor dynasty and other English and Scottish royalty.
