She was married to Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent, who was a half-brother to King Richard II. Through her marriage, she became the Countess of Kent in 1381 and was named a Lady of the Garter in 1388. She was the maternal grandmother of Anne de Mortimer, thus an ancestor of the Tudor dynasty and other English and Scottish royalty.
