The couple’s engagement was announced in April 2020. The wedding was planned for 5 June 2021, but at that date only the civil wedding took place. The guests met in front of the church.

They were married by provost Markus Pottbäcker and Father Eberhard von Gemmingen in a one and a half hour ceremony. The church is something special.
