  2. Ambrose would have been the 3rd Earl only as the heir of his older brother John Dudley, 2nd Earl of Warwick; John was attainted and his titles forfeited. He died on 21 October 1554, aged 23. Ambrose and his brother Henry were "restored in blood" in 1556 and in 1561 Ambrose was elevated to the peerage as Baron d'Lisle and Earl of Warwick.

  6. 21 de feb. de 2024 · 1590 - Ambrose Dudley, 3rd Earl of Warwick, Master of the Ordnance, privy councillor and fourth son of John Dudley, Duke of Northumberland, died at Bedford House on the Strand. He was laid to rest in the Beauchamp Chapel of the Collegiate Church of St Mary, Warwick. See video below.
