Anna Constantia von Brockdorff (17 October 1680 – 31 March 1765), later the Countess of Cosel, was a German lady-in-waiting and noblewoman, and mistress of Augustus the Strong, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, in 1706–1713. Eventually he turned against her and exiled her to Saxony, where she died after 49 years of internal exile. Life.

On October 17, 1680, she was born at Depenau Manor in Holstein. She originated from an old noble family of those von Brockdorff. In her early youth, Constantia became lady-in-waiting at Gottdorf Palace near Schleswig and later in Wolfenbuettel. A pregnancy ended her eight-year stay at court.
Countess Cosel (1680 – 1765) is one of the most enigmatic figures in the history of Saxony. Born as Anna Constantia von Brockdorff in 1680, she married the Saxon Senior Inspector of Taxes, Adolf Magnus von Hoym, in 1703 and came to Dresden with him.
