Born in Rome, brought to France in 1652 at the request of her uncle Cardinal Mazarin (q.v.). Loved by Louis XIV (q.v.), she was removed from the Court when the King's marriage to Maria Theresa was arranged. Married Lorenzo Onofrio Colonna, grand constable of Naples , in 1661, and returned to Italy.
29 de abr. de 2022 · Anna Maria Mancini was born on 28 August 1639 and grew up in Rome. Her father was Baron Lorenzo Mancini, an Italian aristocrat who was also a necromancer and astrologer. After his death in 1650, her mother, Geronima Mazzarini, brought her daughters from Rome to Paris in the hope of using the influence of her brother, Cardinal Mazarin, to gain them advantageous marriages.

Some of the girls, along with two of their cousins grew up to be known as the Mazarinettes and rose to fame and prosperity under the guidance of their uncle Cardinal Mazarin, the chief minister of France.
